The Apothecary Shoppe offers a dazzling assortment of therapeutic oils, salts, lotions and other preparations in a nicely organized store in Southwest Portland. The essential oils collection alone is impressive, with many hard-to-find oils such as New Zealand Tea Tree oil, a special variety with a distinctive aroma that attacks infections that regular Australian Tea Tree oil cannot. Also featured is an extensive therapeutic book selection. The Shoppe is a division of the American College of Healthcare Sciences, which offers accredited degree programs in Aromatherapy, Herbal Medicine, Holistic Medicine and other fields.
